Terms & Conditions

The terms and conditions detailed below apply to all bookings made with Linden Tree Pub, whether at https://www.lindentreepub.co.uk,  https://www.macdonaldhotels.co.uk or by telephone or otherwise. Please note that for promotional bookings the relevant additional terms and conditions should be consulted.

When you make a booking, your contract (which shall include these terms and conditions) will be with Linden Tree Pub at Macdonald Linden Hall Hotel, Golf & Country Club, which shall mean in these terms and conditions Macdonald Hotels (Management) Limited, Whiteside House, Bathgate, West Lothian, EH48 2RX.

All prices featured on the Macdonald Hotels & Resorts website or quoted by telephone or otherwise are offered subject to availability and Macdonald Hotels & Resorts reserves the right to refuse any booking for good reason.

PROMOTION & PARTNERSHIP PRICES

These meal and drink discount prices will require a promotional code. Separate terms and conditions may apply which will take precedence over these standard booking terms and conditions.

AVAILABILITY
During major sporting events, social events, conferences and exhibitions, table bookings will likely increase in popularity and may result in a table not being available.

CHILDREN
As a licensed premises selling alcohol, under-18s are allowed to visit Linden Tree Pub at any time unless stated otherwise. Under-16s are also allowed at any time unless stated otherwise, provided they are accompanied by a person aged 18 or over.  

GUESTS WITH IMPAIRED MOBILITY
Linden Tree Pub has modified facilities for guests with impaired mobility. Guests with impaired mobility or other particular requirements should check with the pub directly in advance to ensure that their requirements can be met.

DOGS
Linden Tree Pub welcomes dogs, provided they are kept securely on a lead for the duration of a visit. 

CAR PARKING
Car parking is free for the duration of stay at both our pub car park and at Linden Hall Hotel, Golf & Country Club located on the same premises.

BOOKING INFORMATION

Our Central Reservations Team is available to take your booking seven days a week from 9am to 6pm Monday to Friday.

When you make your booking, you will be asked to guarantee your booking with a valid debit/credit card, or to prepay if booked on our partnership or promotional rates.

GROUP BOOKING
A booking of five people or more is classified as a group and is subject to our Group Terms & Conditions of business. Please contact Central Reservations for further details.

GIFT VOUCHERS & VOUCHER PRIZES

Gift vouchers and vouchers used as competition prizes, unless otherwise specified on the voucher, are valid for one year from date of issue. If you have a prize voucher and wish to extend the validity date, please contact Central Reservations on 0344 879 9210.

Macdonald Hotels & Resorts gift vouchers should be presented when paying for your meal or on arrival.

Macdonald Hotels & Resorts gift voucher can only be used in Macdonald Hotels & Resorts in the UK and Spain only. Gift vouchers can be used to settle accounts in Macdonald Hotels, either in full or part payment, but change cannot be given. Vouchers can only be used up to a maximum of £2,000 in any one transaction. Gift vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash, replaced if lost and is non-transferable. No refund of money will be made once a voucher has been purchased and no change can be given unless Macdonald Hotels & Resorts withdraw vouchers without prior notice. Macdonald Hotels & Resorts cannot accept responsibility for the loss or theft of a Macdonald gift voucher after it has been issued. Macdonald Hotels reserve the right to amend these Terms and Conditions. No photocopies will be accepted.


CANCELLATION & AMENDMENTS

When wishing to make a cancellation or amendment to a table booking, guests should contact Linden Tree Pub direct via telephone or Macdonald Hotels & Resorts Central Reservations Team on 0344 879 9000.

Promotion and Partnership meal rates may only be cancelled in accordance with the specific terms applying to that rate which will be advised at the time of booking.

Whilst every effort is made to fulfil any particular requests which you may make in relation to your visit, please note that these requests do not form part of our contract and we cannot guarantee that we will be able to meet any particular requests.

COMPLAINTS OR COMMENTS
Any complaint or comment regarding a stay at Linden Tree Pub should be made in the first instance to the pub manager at the time of visit so that it can be resolved at the time.

GENERAL INFORMATION

Although every effort has been made to ensure the accuracy of the information set out on our websites and marketing campaigns, we cannot accept responsibility for any errors or omissions, and reserve the right to vary, amend, supplement or cancel any of the information or offers featured on our websites or email campaigns or otherwise at any time.

All details are correct at time of going to print, however may be subject to change from time to time.

Macdonald Hotels & Resorts shall not be responsible for any loss or damage which you may suffer arising out of events beyond its control or the control of its suppliers (including, without limitation, fire, failure of electrical, gas or other power supplies, strikes, industrial action, terrorist activity, technical problems with transport, illness of entertainers and bad weather), nor for any curtailment, cancellation or change to table booking, event or any other consequences which arise as a result of such events.

For the avoidance of doubt, nothing in these terms and conditions shall operate to attempt to exclude or limit Macdonald Hotels & Resorts’ liability for the death or personal injury of any person caused by the negligence of Macdonald Hotels & Resorts or its employees, servants or agents or to attempt to exclude or limit Macdonald Hotels & Resorts’ liability in any manner which would be unlawful.

These terms and conditions shall be subject to the laws of the jurisdiction in which the hotel for which you make your booking is situated.
